This brand-new genuine Weber brass float fits the Weber 32/36 DGV (including 5A), DGAV, DGEV, and 38 DGAS carburetors: Float height is critical to the proper operation of Weber progressive carburetors. A cracked or broken float will cause the float to sink and allow the fuel level to rise too high, resulting in the car running too rich. A new float will solve the issue. Note: Does not fit DFV series (DFAV/DFEV). DFV carburetors must use the plastic float (Part No. 41030.022). Weber part number 41030.019 or sometimes seen as 41030-019. Alternate supplier part number 1586-20-BRASS. Sold individually, one required per carburetor. Weber recommends setting the height of a brass float at 41mm from the bottom of the float to the bottom of the carb top plate, with the plate held vertically and the float hanging downwards, making light contact with the needle valve. (Racing engine builders often recommend adjusting this height to 39mm for a richer mixture in F1600 racing.)
